WELCOME TO LOCH LOMOND VILLA

 OUR MISSION

"Loch Lomond Villa enhances the quality of life in New Brunswick by providing and supporting, safe, caring places to live for adults challenged by age or disability"

OUR VISION

Loch Lomond Villa will be a caring community for our residents, staff, volunteers, family and community partners.  We will demonstrate to the broader community a way of life that honours and respects the rights of individuals, the power of shared values and the strength of a shared dream.  Adults challenged by age or disability will choose our community as the best possible living environment.  Families will choose our community as the best possible place for their loved ones to live.  Staff and volunteers will choose our community as the best possible place to work.  Unwavering dedication to our values will lead us to this vision

OUR VALUES

OUR HISTORY

In the early 1970's, the Saint John Simonds Lions Club envisioned a flexible living and care facility for Saint John seniors. Determined to realize this dream, they became knowledgeable about other facilities, and began to design the ideal environment for seniors requiring long-term care. Funding and support were secured from the federal and provincial governments, and in 1973 Loch Lomond Villa opened its doors. The official Sod Turning Ceremony was held Saturday, November 20th, 1971 at 2:30 p.m. the beginning of the dream. The official Opening Ceremony was held Friday, October 12th, 1973.
