the tradition of our Lobster dinner and Auction. Our theme this year is "Hockey Night For the Villa" and of course as is our custom we will carry our theme throughout the evening. Funds raised from this years dinner will go toward the purchase of electric beds for the residents of Loch Lomond Villa. We will be holding a Silent Auction, 50/50 draw, Eliminator Draw and our Live Auction. There may even be a surprise or two in keeping with our theme. Of course the dress will be casual once again in keeping with the theme.
Last year we raised $40,000 allowing us to purchase six new electric beds for our residents. Our goal this year is $50,000.
Tickets are $100.00/person or a table of 8 may be reserved for $800.00

For the Health and Safety of our residents, tenants, staff and visitors we ask that you please remove all wet footwear when entering the building.
During the winter months we do not remind ourselves that we are walking through our resident's home.
In order to ensure the health and safety of everyone at Loch Lomond Villa we endeavor to keep the floors dry and safe for everyone. Our Housekeeping staff take pride in keeping the floors dry, clean and shining.
Provided at the entrances (in the wooden bins) are plastic bags for your wet footwear as well as booties which you can put on after removing your boots.

FAMILY COUNCIL
The Loch Lomond Villa Family Council welcomes all families to become involved in the Family Council.
The Family Council acts as a voice for all residents, families and staff members. The meetings are held the second Tuesday of the month at 6:30 p.m.
You can follow the Council's progress by stopping by the Family Board as you enter the Central Lounge where the minutes of the meetings are posted.

2011 ACCREDITATION SURVEY
Our Accreditation on-site survey was completed November 7 - 9th and both surveyors were extremely impressed by the care and services we provide to our residents. Both stated that they were pleased to be in our home and that our staff made them feel welcome, and they witnessed a lot of smiling and respect among staff and residents. The comment made was "we really are like family."
It will take a couple of weeks before we receive our official report and any recommendations that we may receive from Accreditation Canada. We look forward to sharing this report with you.
